I want fic where Fenris has had a few voice lessons, dancing lessons, art lessons, not enough to be particularly skillful at anything, but enough to be able to recognize talent and skill in others and navigate social circles, all the while Danarius’ hand on his shoulder with a honey-sick smile, crowing internally that he could sculpt his pet elf into such a competent valet and relishing the discomfort of his political associates when they discover they’ve been having a stimulating conversation not with Danarius’ favored apprentice but with his little wolf.
Just… give me cultivated cultured!Fenris, who was exposed to these luxuries to further weaponize him in a social capacity, who is as clever as he is strong, who was never taught to read, but still canonically knows four languages. And if you really want to blow my mind, maybe a Fenris whose exposure to fine arts influenced his relationship with freedom, where his tutors are careful to avoid topics that might give him ideas of escape, but the art and music and history created with those themes occasional slip by and resonate. A Fenris that yearns for those connections at the same time as spurning them, because the only reason he has access to these things is the “benevolence” of a master who wants to use this enrichment as a gimmick. Who drinks the wine he served, who knows how good it is, savors it, and who smashes the bottle in defiance, but who still drank the wine.
And for pity’s sake, Fenris who is as rude as he is polite. Half his dialogue is him being a little shit, and the other half is him apologizing for coming off as a little shit.
stop fucking using allosexual/alloromantic. allosexuel(le) is the french quebecois umbrella term for “queer/gay, and alloromantic stems from that. just call people romantic/sexual or non-ace/non-aro.

As an add-on, the reason these terms are so important to the Quebecois community is the necessity for French terminology to be used in order to be taken seriously in the province, so using these terms takes away a necessary tool for the LGBTTQIA+ community in Quebec
Being ace, I did not know this, and use the term allosexual every once in a while. Here is a good reason to just say “sexual” or “romantic.” Let’s not take away this term.

Like, you can be any sexual orientation and be sex repulsed or celibate or just not interested in sex? So calling someone like that sexual is also misleading and unhelpful? It’s just a pretty loaded word, I feel. I know it’s pretty difficult dealing with terminology and labels when there’s so many sexualities in the umbrella, but yeah… If anyone wants to chat about this, I’d love to, but for now I’m gonna suggest the use of zsexual for people who don’t identify as asexual? (Please let me know if that’s shitty too)

Just so you guys know, mucinex interacts INCREDIBLY poorly with most antidepressants, especially Zoloft. It not only almost completely negates the effects of your antidepressant, it also has terrible effects on your body. (Frank wouldn’t even let me read all of them because he thought it would just scare me more, but he said do not take them together again)

Sudafed seems to have fewer negative interactions with physiatrics, but it’s still a good idea to check.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve always avoided mucinex b/c their commercials creep me out, so I’ve just been lucky to avoid it. Good to know I should actively avoid it for reasons beyond their commercials.

It’s not just Mucinex. It is ANY cold, flu, or cough medication with dextromethorphan in it. That’s pretty much any of those medications that have the DM abbreviation after it. It also doesn’t negate the effects of your antidepressant, it causes Dextromethorphan-induced serotonin syndrome. This causes anything from feeling like shit like you have the flu, with cold sweats and vomiting, to just being super anxious or foggy, all the way up to making you feel crazy fucking high and not in a good way. In a possibly hallucinate and feel suicidal kinda way.
But it depends entirely on what your antidepressant dose is and how much dextromethorphan you’re getting with the cold medicine. When you are on an antidepressant or something for ADHD or anything that’s altering your serotonin levels, you really have to ask a doctor before you take other drugs.

I was wondering… is there any known year/ date for when the arlathvens take place? I know that one is held every 10 years and in Origins a Dalish warden can tell Zathrian that they remember seeing him at the last one… so I guess the last one took place sometime before 9:30 and the next one some time before the events of Inquisition if they’re really held that regularly.
I just wondered if maybe in WoT Vol. 2 a certain year is mentioned at some point. I checked Vol. 1 and the DA wiki, but I couldn’t find any specific years (for example in 9:25 and in 9:35, so the next would be in 9:45 or something like that).
