There is! You have to be extremely careful of using Cullen and Josephine for the first few missions, as passive diplomacy and aggressive military are respectively too little or too much.

Contact Clan Lavellan: Josephine or Leliana, Cullen’s troops are seen as an impending Chantry attack on the Clan and they will attack immediately.

Protect Clan Lavellan: Leliana or Cullen, Josephine’s political maneuver comes too late to protect the Clan.

Investigate Duke Antoine of Wycome (If Leliana Protected Clan Lavellan): Josephine, Leliana’s assassination was too under the table and the Clan is blamed for it instead.
Break Venatori Hold on Wycome (If Cullen Protected Clan Lavellan): Leliana, Josephine’s contact doesn’t come through and the nobles march on Clan Lavellan

Stop Purge of Wycome’s Elves (If Josephine Investigated the Duke): Leliana, Cullen’s troops are unable to stop the city from burning.
Restore Order in Wycome (If Leliana breaks the Venatori Hold): Leliana, Cullen’s troops are unable to stop the city from burning.

Protect Clan Lavellan and Wycome: Cullen, Josephine’s contact is unable to establish an alliance between the humans and elves of Wycome, all elves including those of Clan Lavellan are killed.
