There should be a Josephine romance scene where you take her on a date in Val Royeaux and there is a montage of all the different things you do together, and in every clip Leliana is somewhere in the background in a different bad disguise

#she just has different bad mustaches and nothing else changes
^^Yes. This!

Josephine Cherette Montilyet is the bi representation the fandom has asked for and the bi represention we deserve and this is ignored far more often than celebrated and I will continue to shout her praises through this megaphone all night if I have to

I’m sick of Josephine being ignored as bi representation.

People complain that lgbt characters are always the shady ones – the rogues, the assassins, the pirates, the apostates, etc. – but they ignore Josephine. Josephine gets ignored.

And she’s sweet and strong, she’s good and graceful, and not at all shady. She turned her back on shady because she could not live with it. And she’s no less powerful than Leliana just because her weapon is the feather, not the sword.

Yes! She’s a romantic whose romance can be chaste, and that’s a wonderful kind of bisexual character to have.

love josie

There’s also Bull who is, frankly, the best representation of the BDSM community I’ve ever seen. (Not that I’ve seen many.)
He appears to be this big rough dude and yeah he enjoys a good fight, but he’s also the chillest guy ever who’s always up for a drink (It’s his preferred method of solving problems, such as when he mutinied against an old boss he broke his sword and ‘talked it out over drinks’.)

Then in a relationship, he gives you three chances to back out initially and even if you say you know what’s up he still takes the time to explain how the relationship will work and promises never to hurt you (without permission) and you’ll always be safe. I love that. This big guy three times your size is making it clear that you’re in control even if he’s the Dom, it’s all on your terms because you’re the one on the receiving end. This is what Doms should be, caring and considerate. And he’s bi/pan.

And then Josephine who is a Disney Princess and we can duel for her love and she’s always worried about you and such a sweetheart and always considerate of your time and honor and aaaaaa she’s so sweet.

She’s such a lady and that’s never a bad thing. It’s okay to be sweet and ladylike and bisexual, it’s not shameful and it’s not even mentioned as a problem. Just if you flirt with her she’ll be bashful and hopeful but won’t ever dare to assume it could be genuine and aaaaaa

I love that she’s this smart talented woman who values discourse over violence, that she regrets the one time she failed to ‘use my voice instead of scuffling like a common thug’ and regrets killing someone who attacked her first, who was going to kill her and her patron.

That empathy. And she’s bi. And unlike a lot of bisexual girls she’s portrayed as monogamous, faithful, and not the type to have casual flings. There’s nothing wrong with polyamory and casual sex but I do get tired of that being the only type of character bisexual girls get.

A++ job Bioware.

Make Krem romanceable next time.

Oh yes and Josephine can be considered pan too, we just never get the chance to play a genderqueer character.

good points
