i had and still have a long eared animal creature made out of socks named wronky

Ginger. She is a gingerbread cookie. Is likely why I am so spicy and people often think I am a redhead? And why I think about Christmas year round? Maybe?

mine was a 8 inch x 8 inch pillow and i named her little pillow

a bear i stole from my cousin cos i thought she didn’t treat her toys right, and he looked so neglected, a kind of dusty brown-grey with small shining black eyes. i guess i was four. anyway, his name’s handy dandy (make of it what you will) and he’s on my bed this minute.

i had a yellow blob creature sewn by my great-aunt, named goldie bear. she didn’t look like a bear, or like any actual animal, but she had a very nice red calico dress from a garage sale doll, and a green ribbon around her neck that i would drag her around by. in my mind she was a smol mama bear and liked gardening and picnics.

i also had a gray felt rat with rhinestone eyes. his name was templeton. he was an adventure rat, and got into loads of trouble. sometimes goldie bear had to come rescue him because he had no sense of self-preservation.

i had a babydoll from the age of 6 months that i didn’t even think to name until i was about three or four. i named them several times before finally settling on Gina after my best friend at the time (who i never saw again after that year (yet somehow still remember after 25+ years))

so im indecisive as fuck and bad at keeping in touch with friends

i also have a hella good memory when its tied to something else in my head

I had a blue elephant with red fabric with white polka dots for the inner part of its ears. Its name was Elephant.

my absolute favorite toy unttil it was taken away by bullies and thrown was a mettal hooked rod named Gizzard.

I have two I remember. One was a doll I was given that was as big as me at the time, a long soft bodied doll with a sewn on hat. I named her Big’un. Years later I got a rabbit that I couldn’t sleep without in a flouncy little gingham dress that I named BunBun. I cannot find a picture of the big doll but I’ve seen it dozens of times in thrift stores and someday I hope to actually get another of her, she was very sweet and never set off my I Distrust Dolls feeling.

a three foot tall teal and lavender stuffed dragen with cold fabric wings, unicorn horn, and blep tongue. his name is cory and he still has a place of honor on my bed.

I still have my Cookie, who is a large brown and cream dog. Named from the cookie monster’s song “C is for Cookie, that’s good enough for me!” … I really liked cookies …
