Hi hello I like character asks/prompts as much as the next person and decided to make some specific to the warden origins. 😛

MAHARIEL:

  1. What was Mahariel’s relationship like with their clan mates? (Ashalle, Tamlen, Merrill, Fenarel, Paivel, Marethari…)

  2. What was Mahariel’s response to coming across the three humans? How did they react to the repercussions of whatever their decision was with Marethari?
  3. What was going through Mahariel’s mind while exploring the elven ruins?
  4. Did Mahariel ask Ashalle about their parents? If so, what did Mahariel think of hearing about the story, after all this time? If not, what do they think happened?
  5. Did Mahariel join in with Hahren Paivel’s history lesson? If so, how did they handle it? If not, why?
  6. Did Mahariel stop to talk to Pol? If so, what was their reaction to hearing his story about escaping punishment for thievery? Did this affect Mahariel’s view of their kin in the cities?
  7. What was Mahariel’s first impression of Duncan? Did this change?
  8. Did Mahariel join Duncan willingly, or did he have to “drag them kicking and screaming?”
  9. How did Mahariel handle the fast introduction to the world outside their clan?
  10. How did Mahariel feel about Zathrian’s clan, and their situation with the werewolves?

TABRIS:

  1. What was Tabris’ relationship with their family like? (Cyrion, Adaia, Shianni, Sorris…)
  2. How did Tabris handle being told of their arranged marriage?
  3. How did Tabris react to meeting their betrothed?
  4. Did Tabris have any knowledge or ideas about the Dalish? Did they believe they were real, or a myth?
  5. Did Tabris stop to talk with the children playing? If so, how did they handle the children saying they didn’t know any elven heroes?
  6. How did Tabris respond to Vaughn harassing the elven women? To he and his men crashing the wedding?
  7. If Tabris was kidnapped, what was their plan before Sorris showed up? If Tabris launched a rescue mission, what was their motivation to do so like?
  8. Did Tabris kill Vaughn or accept his money? Why?
  9. What was growing up in the alienage like for Tabris? How did they feel about having to leave?
  10. How did Tabris feel about returning to the alienage, and finding slavery?

SURANA/AMELL:

  1. Did Surana/Amell have any memories of their life before the Circle? If so, what of? If not, how did they feel about not knowing where they’re from?
  2. What was Surana/Amell’s relationship with Jowan like? What did they think of the revelation of him being a blood mage?
  3. How prepared was Surana/Amell for their Harrowing?
  4. What was Surana’s/Amell’s reaction to first entering the Fade?
  5. Did Surana/Amell believe in “Mouse?” What did they think of his story?
  6. How did Surana/Amell feel about living in the Circle?
  7. Did Surana/Amell favour a particular Fraternity? What did they think about Circle politics in general?
  8. How did Surana/Amell feel about working with tranquil mages?
  9. Did Surana/Amell decide to help Jowan and Lily, or did they tell Irving of their plans? Why?
  10. How did Surana/Amell feel about returning to the Circle, and seeing it in chaos?

BROSCA:

  1. What was Brosca’s relationship with their family like? (Rica, their mother…) Leske?
  2. How did Brosca feel about working for Beraht?
  3. What did Brosca decide to do with Oskias? Why?
  4. Did Brosca stop to talk with the surface merchant? If so, how did they react to hearing about life above ground? If not, did they have any ideas about what the surface must be like?
  5. What motivated Brosca to approach Duncan at the proving? What did they think of his kind responses?
  6. Did Brosca use the drug on Mainar, or fight in the Proving without cheating? Why?
  7. How did Brosca go about escaping their cell in Beraht’s estate?
  8. What did Brosca plan to do after defeating Beraht, not knowing they would be recruited as a warden?
  9. What was Brosca’s reaction to seeing the surface for the first time?
  10. How did Brosca feel about returning to Orzammar, amid the fight for the crown?

AEDUCAN:

  1. How did Aeducan get along with their siblings? Their father? Gorim?
  2. How adapt was Aeducan at the politics they grew up in? Did this affect their relationship with their father?
  3. Did Aeducan partake in the Proving? If so, how did it go? If not, what did they think about being a spectator?
  4. Did Aeducan choose to support Lord Dace’s bid to lift the trading restrictions on surface dwarves, or turn against him? Why?
  5. What did Aeducan think upon hearing Bhelen tell them Trian is planning their death?
  6. What was going through Aeducan’s mind while exploring Aeducan Thaig?
  7. Did Aeducan murder Trian, or did they find him dead? How did Aeducan react to Bhelen’s accusations?
  8. How did their little unarmoured jaunt in the Deep Roads towards certain death go?
  9. What was Aeducan’s reaction to seeing the surface for the first time?
  10. How did Aeducan feel about returning to Orzammar, amid the fight for the crown?

COUSLAND:

  1. What was Cousland’s relationship like with their family? Gilmore?
  2. How adapt was Cousland at the politics they grew up in? Did this affect their relationship with their parents?
  3. How did Cousland feel about being left in charge of the castle, while their father and Fergus went off to battle?
  4. How did Cousland treat the castle’s staff? What did the staff think of them in return?
  5. How did Cousland react to hearing Duncan say they would be a promising recruit for the Grey Wardens?
  6. What did Cousland think about Howe suggesting they marry one of his children?
  7. How well-versed is Cousland in their family’s history? Did they stop to talk with Aldous about it?
  8. How did Cousland handle seeing the death of those around them? Of the destruction of the castle?
  9. Did Cousland willingly join Duncan, or resist fleeing? Why?
  10. How did Cousland feel about/react to seeing Howe again? About eventually killing him?

  1. What was the warden’s life like prior to joining the order? Under what circumstances did they join?
  2. How did the warden react to being made Warden-Commander and sent to a new country?

windows 10 is garbage so every time i boot up the computer i have to run command prompt and enter

net.exe stop “Windows Search”

so that the shitty goddamned search/cortana feature that i never fucking use stops running in the background taking up all my fucking disk space

y’all didn’t even add a tutorial of how to do this so imma put one right here

1. type in cmd.exe into your windows search and right click on Command Promt search result and select “Run as Administator”.
2. Type/Copypase in 

net.exe stop “Windows Search” and make sure Windows Search is in quotations. It should then respond saying “The Windows Search service is stopping” and then tell you it’s stopped.

This is only a temp fix though, if you want it switched off permanently then do THIS:

1.  Press the Windows key + R at the same time and type in services.msc.

2.  Scroll until you find Windows Search and double click it to enter its Properties window.

3.  Change the Startup type to Disabled. Apply this change and you can exit out.

VOILA, NO MORE TAKEN UP DISK SPACE

Survey Into Gender And Sexuality Experiences

In an attempt to develop some concept of the populations, numbers, and correlations of certain belief patterns in online LGBTQ+ spaces, I have drafted this semi-formal survey.

It is not associated with any academic institution or data collection group. Simply a personal project. As such, it has not been reviewed by the APA or any other formal review groups.

It is extremely long, and will take around 20-30 minutes to complete.

All questions excepting the first two demographics questions are completely optional, so if you do not feel confident in your ability to answer a question, please skip it, or mark it as “blank.”

If possible, please also pass this survey along to others.

If you have questions regarding the survey, or the data collected by it, please send those questions to the ask system on this blog.

All responses are anonymous. The “sign in” feature is to prevent people from spamming the form with duplicate submissions.

You are able to edit your responses after submission, in the event that you wish to change the way you answered a question or questions.
