Warning Tags

pocketlass:

When tagging posts for trigger/content warnings, please remember that blacklists pick up the first word in the tag. An example of what will and will not be blocked:

Let’s say we want to make sure that followers can block posts tagged with “eggshell.”

  1. Tagging “eggshell”, “eggshell tw”, “eggshell cw”, “eggshell for ts”, or any tag with “eggshell” at the beginning WILL be picked up and hidden by the user’s blacklist.
  2. Tagging “tw eggshell”, “cw eggshell”, “warning: eggshell”, or any tag with something before “eggshell” will NOT be picked up by the user’s blacklist, and the post will NOT be hidden on their dashboard.

So please, friends, remember to tag your warning posts with the content keyword first (ie “eggshell” or “eggshell cw/tw/warning/for ts”). That is how XKit’s blacklist is designed to pick up words. Thanks!
